Logistics-Warlord Kazimi

Farhad Kazimi is what the Combine calls a logistics-warlord: supply-corps tenure and a capital ship, an awkward combination, because the supply corps eats people who try to leave it. Kazimi did not try to leave. He took fleet command on the condition that he keep the Praxis Corridor, the company's longest and most fought-over resupply line.

The Supply Line is half warship and half forward depot. His convoys do not run dry, because he is there to drag them through. Three times he has resupplied stranded enemy ships in his zone, on the grounds that letting them starve was wasteful. They paid him later in salvage rights. The Combine dislikes the arrangement and cannot replace him. Whoever holds the corridor holds half the frontier. He holds the corridor. He is willing to discuss other math.
