Keeper of a Post
A Contestabile holds a post: a gate, a station ring, a corridor of a captured hull. The orders are simple. Stay there. Do not let anyone through who has not paid, signed or surrendered. It sounds easy until the third week. Contestabiles are chosen for patience more than courage, and the Company considers that the rarer of the two. A post that is still held when the contract ends earns the Contestabile a bonus.
