Master of Guns
The Havildar runs the guns and the people who serve them. They know every weapon on the ship by its habits: which one runs hot, which one pulls left, which one has never once fired on time. Gun crews are loud, superstitious and deaf in at least one ear, and the Havildar is the only one they listen to. A captain chooses the target. A Havildar decides whether it gets hit.
