Captain of Recruits
The Lochagos takes recruits nobody else wants and turns them into Blades. Most come from wrecked fleets, failed colonies and the far ends of bad debts. The Lochagos teaches them the drill, the articles and the pay scale, in that order, and sends the survivors on to a banner. A good Lochagos is remembered fondly. A bad one is remembered in detail.
